Sign Up / In

I am the Lead Designer on the SUSI [Sign Up Sign In] team at Dropbox, responsible for modernizing and improving the registration and log in experience on Dropbox.com for millions of users across multiple products.

My task on the SUSI team is to unify and improve the experience for consistency and to reverse a multi-quarter downward trend in new sign-ups with Dropbox. I also worked to effectively add new sign up options like Google One Tap, customized social sign-up/in buttons for various platforms, and update the visual standards of the experience to align with Dropbox Web Guidelines.

Dropbox Homepage

I shipped several content experiments and improvements to the Dropbox Homepage to increase product recognition and drive sign-ups. Several of these experiments drove major improvements in engagement, increasing click-through rate by 375% in several areas using product-focused content.

I delivered a Google One Tap one-click login and registration experience from the Dropbox Homepage, increasing sign-ups YoY by 18% in Q4 2022. I joined a core team of contributors from Marketing, Growth, and Acquisition teams to provide design guidance for Dropbox’s current homepage design while adding new functionality.

Search for Experience

I launched a complete Search experience for experience.dropbox.com, including a secondary navigation site-wide search input box and a Search Results page. Functionality is provided by Coveo search integrated into Adobe Experience Manager [AEM].

The goal of this project is to produce a search interface similar to the Dropbox in-product search experience, a design that can be re-used across other AEM websites like dropbox.com, jobs.dropbox.com, and help.dropbox.com.

The project timeline was tight; 4 weeks from design concept to delivery so the experience would launch before the end of 2021.

Advance Access

Dropbox released several new Beta products throughout 2021 and there wasnโ€™t a central place where these products were visible.

The Advance Access page is a destination used by the press, blogs, and social media to link to all of Dropboxโ€™s Beta products, and connect visitors with new products to evaluate.

The Hero area of Advance Access features product animations that communicate product functionality to visitors.
